Green Fest is back! Camborne Town Council is once again hosting this free, family festival in an award winning park; Camborne Recreation Ground, on Saturday 7th June (11am-5pm).
Since their first ‘Green Fest’ in 2023, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and building on this community support, the Council ensured last year’s event was bigger and better than ever with a larger music stage featuring fantastic local artists all afternoon, including Cat Florence, Freshly Squeezed, Ex Presidents, Kid Ego and Bailey Tomkinson and The Locals.
In 2025, they are once again offering a fabulous line-up of live music on a state of the art stage, with now over 15 stalls from local charities and environmental organisations, plus festival food and (non-alcoholic) drinks, kids activities and a roaming performer called ‘Detritus of the Deep’, alongside one of the best kids playgrounds in Cornwall.
“We’re delighted that festival favourites 3 Daft Monkeys will be headlining this year’s Green Fest, with classic rock from Three Minute Warning and Guilty Pleasures,” said Steve Cantrill, Communications and Engagement Manager at Camborne Town Council, “and we’ll warmly welcome all at lunchtime with vintage swing classics from Andy ‘The Crooner’ Marshall.
“The festival is family friendly, entry is free and we welcome one and all to throw down a blanket on the grass, or even some shapes down the front of the stage.
“Let the kids play and enjoy the activities and food, plus it’s the ideal opportunity to find out more about the work of local organisations on sustainability.”
Green Fest is always held during the Climate Coalition’s annual celebration of environment action
called ‘Great Big Green Week’, which is being marked with events across the UK.
