Prepare for an evening filled with suspense as St Austell Players presents Agatha Christie’s classic play, A Murder is Announced from 19th to 22nd March at St Austell Arts Centre.

This captivating adaptation brings to life Christie’s brilliant and intricate storytelling, promising audiences a thrilling theatrical experience.

A Murder is Announced centers around a mysterious advertisement in a local newspaper announcing that a murder will take place at the home of Miss Blacklock. When guests arrive at her house for the event, they soon find that the murder is indeed real, leading to chaos. 

Famed amateur sleuth, Miss Marple, steps in to unravel the mystery. As she investigates, she discovers hidden secrets, motives, and the complex relationships among the characters. 

Director Penny Mergler leads a talented cast who bring these complex characters to life. She commented:
