Celebrate your community heroes this New Year with Compassionate Kernow

Compassionate Kernow are asking for your help to celebrate the people who make our communities thrive

Do you know someone who makes a difference in your community? If so, Compassionate Kernow would like to hear from you.

They are calling for nominations to honour local heroes who selflessly care for others and make the world a better place.

Whether it’s a neighbour, a colleague, or a volunteer, now is the time to shine a light on their efforts.

Share their story by messaging Compassionate Kernow on Facebook or by emailing voices@compassionatekernow.co.uk with their name and why they deserve recognition.

Selected nominations will be shared, with some of the inspiring stories featured by Compassionate Kernow on New Year’s Day.

Compassionate Kernow, part of Compassionate Communities, supports a variety of initiatives, including community cafés, warm spaces, meals, bereavement support and women’s empowerment programs.

Simon Betteridge, CEO of Compassionate Kernow, joined CHAOS Radio earlier this year to discuss how they build partnerships with local businesses, town councils, and communities to enhance support and facilities across Cornwall.
